I was born in Rosario (Argentina) and have been a resident of the Washington area since 1988. Since my childhood I have been drawing in black and white (pen & ink) looking for the best way to "capture the shadows."
Primarily I am a self-taught artist, and have created my own style. Due to all of the details, I have to plan the entire drawing carefully in advance.
For me, the quality of the drawings is in the details, spending at least three months to complete each. Working from foreground to background, I learned to deal with the mistakes en route to suggest the correct texture, angle and shadows, when going from color photographs to a black and white drawing.
The subjects of my drawings are historic buildings and places around the world.
I have exhibited in Argentina and United States. Many of my drawings are in private collections in the United States, Argentina, Italy and Spain.
